However, I have now discovered that the decoders that I had been using (PDW, Fldigi, EOTmon) will no longer work correctly, specifically, I cannot hear the radio sound and decode at the same time, it is either one or the other, as it seems that Windows 10 does not give you the option to run a dual sound system.
